Getting geared up for Christmas

Most of you might think this is the aftermath of too much cake and too many presents. Well... you'd be wrong. This is how me and my mamma get geared up for a big christmas dinner and gather our strength to open lots of presents. I've discovered that nice long naps are the best way to get good and hungry for loads of cake. Actually, I confess that I didn't discover this, my crazy Grandpa in Illinois taught me that. I hope you all enjoy the pictures of me, mamma, Grandma Lois and Grandpa Ray opening our presents on Christmas Eve. Happy Holidays!! LiamRay

Christmas at the Algueseva Ranch

Hi Everyone! Here are just a few pictures from christmas last night, we had a great time. Today, we're just lying about and enjoying a relaxing day. My dad has been playing with the new blog....you see, this website was recently upgraded by those 'behind the green curtain'. Anyway, it doesn't hardly work at all and in the time it takes to post just ONE picture on the 'new and improved' blog we used to be able to post many. Anyway, it was taken all morning just to put up these three, so I hope you like them. I don't know when we'll be able to post more, hopefully those clowns that actually run this site will get it together and fix the many many problems with this new version.

sorry for the rant, I just hope that I can continue to share my adventures through this site. LiamRay

A day at the Franklin Conservatory

During Grandpa and Aunt Mary's visit we went to the Franklin Park Conservatory, where they recently installed a series of Dale Chihuly glass sculptures to complement the different rooms of the green house (each room corresponding to a different ecosystem). Aside from the different greenouse rooms, there is also an outdoor area with a very very cool series of model trains. All told, we had a grand ol' time at the Conservatory.

Sorry it took several attempts before I could get all these pictures posted (Blogger sometimes kinda sucks, we're in process of switching to the new version). We tried to get them posted before we left for Grandma Lois and Grandpa Ray's house in that state up north (as Woody Hayes would say!), but unfortunately we experienced more than a few technical problems. Anyway, stay tuned for pictures of my NEW! haircut (thanks for the comments Chris), and for new pictures of my trip to Grandma and Grandpa's, and also my visit with Aunt Marilou and BIG Al.

Happy Holidays everyone! LiamRay
